Original German WW1 1914 Iron Cross Medal 2nd Class

Here on offer is a great example of a WW1 1914 German Iron Cross medal, 2nd class.

This example retains its black finish to the centre and shows age tarnishing to the silver frame, that will clean off if required. There is also a very slight curve (dent) to one of the tips on the top edge.

I can’t make out any maker’s marks on the suspension ring.

It measures 1.75” (4.4cm) square and weighs 19.4g.
