British Admiralty Pattern Navy Knife with Leather Sheath circa 2008

Here on offer is an issued and used British Ministry of Defence Admiralty Navy Knife with stainless steel blade, rosewood handle and black leather sheath.

On the grip, the two rosewood slabs are held in place by two brass pins. Four finger notches have been carved into the front slab to help grip the knife.

The polished stainless steel blade has a sharp single cutting edge, which is stamped with the NATO Stock Number: 5110 99 437 5839.

It also has the Broad Arrow mark and UTD 08, where I think UTD is possibly the maker and 08 refers to the year of manufacture, 2008.

It is complete with its original black leather sheath, which shows some use and has a thick piece of black tape fitted around the top section to hold the stitching in place.

The blade measures 4.25” (10.8cm) long and the knife is 8” (20.5cm) in total length.

It weighs 105g.
