Framed Photo of a USAF B-52 Stratofortress Bomber Taking off from RAF Fairford to Bomb Iraq April 2nd 2003

Here on offer is a professionally framed Photo of a USAF B-52 Stratofortress Bomber taking off in the dusk of the evening from RAF Fairford on 2nd April 2003, to bomb Iraq as part of the “Shock & Awe” campaign.

The photo image is an awesome shot of the B-52 just lifting off of the runway with its eight engines at full power.

The large photo has been professionally set in mounts and framed by a company called IMAGINE. They have set in the frame the logo image of their company as an authentication certificate.

There is also a printed section that explains in words the event that this photo captured that ultimately lead to the liberation of the Iraqi people.

The frame is made from wood and has a gilt coloured inner edge. The photo is fronted with a matt non-reflective glass that provides a clear image of the photo in varying light conditions.

It has two brass wall fixing mounts fitted to the sides of the frame.

This is just a really impressive photo image of what is now part of our recent history.

A great collectors item.

The photo displayed measures 11.6” (29.5cm) by 5.25” (13.3cm) and the frame is 14.5” (37cm) by 10.2” (25.7cm).
