Limited Edition MOKI Knife of the Year “1999” with Leather Pouch and Wooden Presentation Box - 1 of 300

Here on offer is a rare opportunity to obtain a genuine Limited Edition MOKI, Knife of the Year “1999”, folding knife, 1 of 300 ever made.

Moki knives have been produced in Seki, Japan since 1907. Handmade to near perfect fit and finish, make Moki knives prized as a "gentleman's knife".

I have owned this knife from new and it is in mint condition, with its black leather tooled pouch and complete with its original presentation wooden box.

It has only been taken out of its box to take photos.

The grip is made from satin finished stainless steel that has a beautiful ironwood slab inset into both sides.

The stunning mirror finished blade has ATS-34 stamped on the ricasso on one side and MOKI on the other. The blade has the full MOKI logo in gold and 1 of 300 etched into it.

ATS-34 is a Japanese stainless steel high in Carbon and Chromium for great corrosion resistance and wear resistance. It has been around since the 1990s and is a copy of the old Crucible 154cm steel.

The black leather pouch fits snugly into the base of the wooden box.

Imprinted in gold on the lid of the presentation box is "MOKI 1999 Year Special Edition Knife" in Japanese Hiragana and Kanji.

These knives rarely come on the knife market, as they are kept stored away in collections as indeed my collection has been, but now it is time to offer them for another collector to enjoy!

The knife has an approximate blade length of 2.6” (6.7cm) and a fully opened length of 5.9” (15cm).


It weighs 38g.
