“VICTORINOX” SPARTAN Swiss Army Knife 100th Anniversary Edition 1897 - 1997

Here on offer is a mint example of the 100th Anniversary 1897-1997 ‘SPARTAN’ Swiss Army Knife

In 1997, VICTORINOX released a special edition of knives to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the original Swiss Army knife (SAK) and this is the Spartan version.

The knife comes in an attractive presentation polished chrome case, which also has a multi-lingual 100 year booklet.

On the top of the lid is a large embossed image of the evolution of the SAK, from the evolution to the current multi-tooled knife.

Please note the finish is a very bright chrome which shows a red colouration in my photos from the reflection of the surroundings

The front handle of the knife also has a foil imprint showing the evolution of the SAK, as shown on the tin case.

The blade is printed with a red VICTORINOX logo, and in white, "100 Years Swiss Army Knife”.

This was a limited edition with serial number 26565 behind the corkscrew.

The actual knife is a SPARTAN, 91mm model that includes the following: Medium blade (70mm), Small blade (42mm), can opener with screwdriver tip, 3 mm bottle opener with screwdriver tip, 5 mm wire stripper reamer, punch and sewing awl, corkscrew toothpick, tweezers and key ring

This is a beautiful ‘mint in box example’ and makes a very impressive display set in its case.

With the case the total combined weight is 220g.
