Some reference history about Les Jason Spence.

Les Jason Spence was born in Cheshire in 1934 and spent his early years growing up in Yorkshire.

In 1971 Les and his family moved to Cornwall and over the years his reputation as a leading artist continually flourished. He ran his own gallery in
Padstow, Cornwall during the 1980’s before concentrating on painting full time.

His many exhibitions include The Royal Society of Marine Artists, The Royal Society of British Artists and had one-man shows throughout Britain. His
commissions include The Royal Norwegian Navy, The Royal Marines, The Readers Digest and Westward Television.
His work has also been published by six different UK publishers and marketed worldwide in 53 countries.
