Excellent WW2 German Army Officers Dagger Hangers

Here on offer is an excellent set of WW2 German Army Officers Dagger Hangers.

The fittings on this set are the heavy metal alloy type.

The oval buckles and slides have the fine oak leaf pattern and retain nearly all of their original silver finish that has slightly dulled with age.

The two lower “push open” spring clips are in full working order and retain most of the silvering to the stippled finish. There are no maker marks that I can see, which is not uncommon for this type of hanger.

The top suspension bar is the plain-silvered type and it has lost most of the silver finish.
The two straps have mint condition silver brocade to the front and dark green velvet backings which show a couple of spots of staining on the shorter strap.

The longest hanger measures 10.5” (26.6cm) from the top clip to the tip of the lower clip and they weigh 72g.

This is a beautiful set of Army hangers that will compliment and complete any Army dagger and portepee.
