Excellent WW2 German Army Officers Dagger Hangers

Here on offer is an excellent set of WW2 German Army Officers Dagger Hangers.

These hangers have the heavy metal alloy fittings with some silver finish remaining.

The oval buckles and slides have the fine oak leaf pattern and retain a lot of their original silver finish that has dulled with age.

The two lower “push-up” spring clips are in full working order but have lost most of their original silver finish on the oak leaf fronts and plain backs.

There are no maker’s marks that I can see.

The top clip is the plain type and retains some silver finish to the front. The silver finish to the reverse has worn back to the base metal finish.

The two straps have mint condition silver brocade to the front and dark green velvet backings which are also mint condition.

The longest hanger measures 10.25” (26cm) from the top clip to the tip of the lower clip and they weigh 80g.

These are an excellent genuine set of Army hangers that will compliment and complete any Army dagger and portepee.
