Set of Six Hand Painted Porcelain French Napoleonic War Period Military Figures

Here on offer is a great set of six hand painted porcelain French soldiers dressed in uniforms from the Napoleonic Wars.

I believe they where made in the 1960’s, possibly in France or Japan and three have a makers symbol of a Crown above the letter ‘S’ on their base, which I can't trace.

Each of the figures is approximately 8” (22cm) tall and they are in excellent condition apart from the Officier des Hussards, which has been professionally repaired around his waist and right arm. It still displays perfectly well. Please see my pictures.

The six figures are each individually labelled on the front as follows:

Officier de Cavalerie
Officier des Hussards
Grenadier de la Garde
Soldat d'infanterie
Officier des Chasseurs
Maréchal de I'Empire

These make a great display group for any Napoleonic military period collector and are hard to find in a full set of six figures.

Combined they weigh approximately 1.8kg.
