WW1 Arcadian China ZEPPELIN with the Crest of Northampton

Here on offer is a mint condition Arcadian China model of a WW1 Zeppelin.

On the front is a beautiful colourful crest transfer image of the shield for the City of:

NORTHAMPTON

The transfer has been hand painted in certain areas and is in undamaged condition.

On the base is the printed makers mark:

ARCADIAN CHINA

with the maker’s crown toped crest that reads:

A & S

STOKE ON TRENT

I believe A & S stands for Arkinstall & Sons Ltd of Stoke On Trent, England, who made Arcadian China between 1906 and 1924.

The Zeppelin model is in mint condition, no chips or cracks and all its gilt finish/edging in place.


The model measures 5.25” (13.4cm) long by 2.25” (5.7cm) high.


It weighs 88g.
