WW2 Royal Navy Shield Shaped Bakelite Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is an excellent example of a WW2 shield shaped Bakelite sweetheart brooch, inset with a black and white photo of a Royal Navy rating in uniform.

The Bakelite shield and top bar have a brown marbled finish and are in excellent undamaged condition.

The front has a small circular photo of a Navy rating in uniform that is covered in a clear plastic cover.

On the reverse it still retains its original fixing pin and clasp.

It measures 1.1” (2.7cm) wide by 1.75” (4.5cm) high and weighs 6g.
