WW2 Trench Art Aluminium Model of an RAF Spitfire

Here on offer is an example of a period WW2 Trench Art aluminium model of a RAF Spitfire.

The model is a one piece solid aluminium casting and does show overall light age oxidisation to the finish.

There are some “nibbles/chips” to the top of the tail and tail wings, as well as minor nibbles to the main wing tips.

The underside has a hole drilled, to allow a display stand to be fitted if required.

The model has a 5.25” (13.5cm) wingspan and is 4.5” 11.4cm long.

It weighs 63g.
