WW1 Mother Of Pearl “The Royal Artillery” Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is beautiful Mother of Pearl ‘The Royal Artillery’ Sweetheart Brooch that is in excellent original condition.

This is a quality British made piece, with a circular badge attached to a beautiful solid square piece of Mother of Pearl, that in turn is suspended by a stepped metal bar brooch.

There is excellent detail on the printed central badge, even down to the rivets on the gun carriage.

It has the regimental moto:

UBIQUE (Everywhere)
QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT (Where Right and Glory Lead)

The M.O.P. pendant is attached to the stepped suspension bar by a metal ring and the rear of the bar has a fixing pin and “C” clasp, but no maker’s mark can be seen.

The bar is 2” (2.5cm) wide and the M.O.P. is 1” (2.5cm) square.
