Vintage Hand Made Wooden Wall Plaque for the British Military Intelligence Corps, circa 1980

Here on offer is one of three quality hand made vintage wooden wall plaques that I acquired, which all I believe relate to the British Military Intelligence Corps, circa 1980.

This hand painted example has the Intelligence Corps badge set on a central shield with the motto, on a wooden ribbon below it:

Manui Dat Cognitio Vires

(Knowledge gives strength to the arm)

The reverse has a hole to allow it to be hung from a wall and the words:

Made in Great Britain

The plaque measures 6.6” (17cm) high and 5.9” (15cm) wide at the top.

It weighs 180g.
