WW2 Gilt & Enamel Kings Crown Royal Army Service Corps ‘Good Luck’ Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is a lovely detailed example of a gilt metal and enamel Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) sweetheart brooch, probably from the WW2 period as it displays the Kings Crown and GR cypher.

The brooch has been made in the shape of a horseshoe, with the words ‘GOOD LUCK’ around the bottom edge.

The centre displays a detailed RSAC gilt and enamel badge emblem, with the GR Royal cypher in the centre.

The reverse is plain and I can’t see a makers mark anywhere.

This is a quality piece in great condition, with fine detail to central badge.

The brooch is 1.1” (2.8cm) wide and is complete with its original long brooch pin and “C” clasp.

It weighs 9g.

Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.
