Antique Continental Silver & Coral Child's Soother with Bells/Rattle and Whistle

Here on offer is an ornately cast silver and coral child's soother with bells/rattle and a whistle.

The silver is continental (800 grade) and is stamped 800 RSD under the tip of the whistle. Its finish has a slight dark patina that could be polished to a brighter finish, if so required.

I believe RSD is the maker’s stamp/name, which I can’t trace.

The original smooth coral chew/soother is still in place as are all four of the silver bells.

It also still retains the silver suspension ring under the mouth of the whistle.

It is in excellent undamaged condition and still generates a high-pitched whistle sound!

It measures 4” (10cm) long and weighs 17g.
