Unusual WW2 RAF - 1943 Three Pence Piece & Perspex Sweetheart Pendant

Here on offer is a hand made example of a WW2 RAF sweetheart pendant that has been made from a 1943 three pence piece and a Perspex disc.

I was told from the family I bought it from, that the central Perspex disc came from the canopy of a damaged WW2 RAF fighter plane and the cut-out Crown and Eagle from a RAF Officers brass button.

You can still see the remains of the wording that remains from the edges of the George VI 1943 three pence coin.

A large loop has been soldered to the top to allow a chain to be fitted.

It is excellent original condition, the Perspex is crystal clear and the emblems show the true age patina for an item from the WW2 period.

The pendant is about 0.8” (2.1cm) diameter and weighs 4.2g.

Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.

Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched.

The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country.

Thanks for taking the time to look.
