Mint 2019 British Army 3-Piece Jack Knife by Joseph Rodgers of Sheffield

Here on offer is a mint condition 2019 British Army issued 3-piece Jack Knife, made by the famous knife manufacturers, Joseph Rodgers of Sheffield.

This knife has been made from the famous robust and time proven design and features a stainless steel sheep foot blade for heavy-duty cutting, a can-opener tool and a marline spike for rope work.
The handle is fitted with black plastic diamond pattern scales to aid grip and comes complete with loop for attachment to a lanyard. At the other end of the handle is the large flat screwdriver blade.

The main blade has been etched with the maker’s name:

JOSEPH RODGERS (SHEFFIELD)

The NATO Stock Number (NSN):

5110-99-940-4297

The date of issue:

2019

followed by the Army “crows foot” and letters AXE.

On the CSC Tools website the NATO number still is referred to and states it is a “knife”.

Versions of this knife have been issue to servicemen in their many thousands since its introduction in the 19th century.

This is a great opportunity to add a modern British Army issued version to a collection that is in mint unused condition.

Please be warned that the blade is razor sharp and stiff to open!

The knife (including the loop) measures 6.5” (16.5cm) long with the blade open and 4.25” (11cm) with the blade closed.

It weighs 150g.
